National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) was established by an Act of Parliament on 13 March 1963 as a statutory body under Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers welfare. The Management vests in 51 members widely represented General Council to give shape to its policies and programmes and Board of Management with 12 members to cater to day-to-day activities. Besides its Head Office, in New Delhi, NCDC functions through 18 Regional/State Directorates around India.

NCDC is working on cooperatives movement. It is endowed with in-house technical and managerial capabilities in the areas of Cooperation, Organisation & Methods, Financial Management, Management Information Systems, Sugar, Oilseeds, Textiles, Fruits & Vegetables, Dairy, Poultry and Livestock, Fishery, Handlooms, and Healthcare infrastructure to help cooperatives to identify/formulate projects and successfully implement them. To be a development financial institution for the cooperatives in the country and carve niche for development of the sector internationally is vision of NCDC.

NEDAC Training Centre Bangkok (NTCB) and Laxmanrao Inamdar National Academy for Cooperative Research and Development (LINAC), NCDC have collaborate and working together on competencies development of NEDAC members and their associates through trainings, workshop, seminar, consultancy and etc. to promote organizational, entrepreneurship and business development, emerging technologies, cyber security, IT application, and new areas for cooperative development. We will continue the collaboration to strengthen skills and capabilities of agricultural cooperatives.
